Sports Betting Trading Pricing & Risk Management
Piwwop is developing an advanced pricing and risk management model for sports betting, capable of handling sophisticated bets in real time. The project is based on the creation of an industrial test bench to rigorously validate the statistical performance and robustness of the model in the face of data variations. The tool is designed to be used in production by traders, with an interface adapted to their operational needs.
Your mission
Model Development and Validation: Contribute to the implementation of a risk pricer and a risk management model, in collaboration with senior mathematicians and engineers
Industrial Test Bench: Participate in the creation, calibration and use of a statistical test bench to validate model accuracy and robustness.
Visualization / Analysis: Contribute to the development of a visualization and interaction tool, ensuring a fluid and intuitive user experience.
Production and Monitoring: Set up monitoring tools to track model performance in production and detect any anomalies or drifts.
Participation in Data Science Projects: Leverage innovations from other company projects to enrich and strengthen the solutions developed.
Interfaces and libraries: Deliver visualization tools and calculation libraries.
Agile methodology: Participate in the R&D team’s Agile ceremonies.
Documentation and Testing: Implement rigorous testing and write maintenance documentation.

Your Profile
🏆 You are in a gap year , or in your final year of studies at your school (Bac+4/5 or Master 1/2), specializing in computer science and/or applied mathematics. You live in Bordeaux or Montreal or have the opportunity to live there (for Montreal you must already hold a visa). You’re looking for a 6-month internship. You have good interpersonal skills and can adapt to business and technical contacts. You’re logical, rigorous and detail-oriented. Passionate about data science and artificial intelligence, you want to work in an innovative company with strong international growth potential. You are able to communicate fluently with customers in English and French.
Skill Required
💡 Know the R language. Master the Linux environment. Be comfortable with python.
Be able to write complex programs in an Agile + CI context.
Knowledge of Machine Learning and Shiny libraries is a plus.
